Movement Project
It’s a space for young people to get together and explore different ways of expressing themselves, through movement. The aim of the group is to support each other, have fun, improve mental health & wellbeing through movement and dance.
• 13 – 25, the Movement accepts our whole age range;
• GM wide, YP from all our localities are welcome;
• we meet every Tuesday 5-6pm.
Quotes from YP about the Movement Project:
“One of the groups I tried that went well and a big step for my confidence.”
“A place I don’t have to conform; a place where my physical limitations aren’t important.”
“Helped me to feel I wasn’t being judged, no need to hide away here. I look forward to it all week!”
“A great way to spend my time and learn new skills, the people are supportive and open; encourages me to go back.”
“A way of articulating my mental health that I never thought would work for me!”
